Katherine Kostreva

Katherine Kostreva is the Northeast Region Executive Director for Bunker Labs,  a national non profit helping Veterans and MilSpouses start, grow and scale their small businesses and startups. She is also the Principal of On Point, providing public relations, event planning and consulting services to Veteran Service Organizations. She lobbies to reform the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program (TAP) with her partner, a former Marine. The “Loya-Sears Warrior Transition Assistance Reform Act of 2018” mandates earlier pre-separation counseling, standardizes curriculum, increases participation rates, and improves transition assistance resources.  Katherine has been personally featured by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Post, New York Daily News, New York Social Diary, St. Petersburg Times, Military Times and OK! Magazine, to name a few. She has a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Florida, and a Masters Degree in Public Policy at New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

Ryan Loya

Ryan Loya was rated by Command as an “Exceptionally Qualified” Marine for outstanding leadership and performance. He served ten years in the Marine Corps, deploying four times, two of which were to Afghanistan. On his third deployment in May 2010, Ryan was Squad Leader of 13 Marines at Marjah. When two of his men were separated by an IED, and lacking EOD support, Ryan located the wire trace to clear his men. He was subsequently blown into a nearby river, where he was pulled out to safety by his friend, and mentor, Sgt. Jeremy Sears. Ryan was awarded the Purple Heart. Sears later died by suicide after he could not find employment for two years. Ryan transitioned out of the Marine Corps in March 2017, attends New York University and works for global advertising firm, FCB. In March 2018, he launched REBOOT, the first network wide Veteran hiring initiative for Interpublic Group (IPG).
